Custom Fabrication

Custom vehicles and hot rods often require components that never existed off the shelf—modified floorpans, fabricated mounts, structural reinforcements, or bespoke bodywork. Precision fabrication is what allows those one-of-a-kind parts to fit cleanly and hold up over time.

On a restoration, the same applies: when a panel cannot be sourced, it has to be made. A well-fabricated part restores both the appearance and the structural integrity of the vehicle.

On a restoration or a custom build, fit is everything. A part that is slightly off forces every surrounding piece out of alignment, creating gaps, stress points, and finish problems that compound as the project moves forward.

Our craftsmen work to tight tolerances so that each component integrates with the surrounding structure rather than fighting against it. That attention to fit is what separates fabrication done right from fabrication that simply fills a gap.

Fabrication is the foundation under much of what we do. A frame-off classic car restoration regularly requires repair panels and floorpan sections, and a custom hot rod build often needs fabricated mounts, chassis modifications, and bespoke bodywork.

Because the fabrication facility, the restoration work, and the build work all happen under one roof in Apache Junction, the craftsmen responsible for each stage collaborate directly—so a part is built to fit the actual car in front of them, not a specification on paper.

Arizona Rod Shop is located in Apache Junction, Arizona, just east of the Greater Phoenix Metro Area. We work with owners across Mesa, Gilbert, Chandler, Queen Creek, Scottsdale, Fountain Hills, and Gold Canyon, as well as clients throughout Arizona.
